Yes, thanks Ian, it was a great day out despite the showers early on - but we never regret going!! ( It was The Blue Anchor Chris - not the Star!) Well done Vanessa, a truly brave effort - and Clare too, hopefully feeling happier about cycling in France very soon. Apologies to all for my occasional rants. I won't mention the B word on these pages. Fortunately something else distracted me this morning - please visit the Forum - maybe even give your own opinion - it's what it's there for!

Those members who have got as far as reading the message board but have been put off by the difficulty of remembering two passwords to gain access to the Forums, may like to know that Chris has updated the site so that you now need only one password. Just to alert anyone who hasn't heard already that were heading off to Devon on the 16/17th Feb for a weekend ride. The details are on the home page under "Join us for a Weekend Away" ( just scroll down the ride reports ). We'll be staying at the Duke of York in Iddesleigh for two nights and leading a short pathfinder type ride on the Sunday at around 10:30 (not to be confused with Martins Pathfinder proper the following week!) so you could always drive up on the Sunday. For those that don't know Sonjia broke her ankle on Friday, she's at home her ankle has been plated and bolted together. She'll be off the bike for at least 6 weeks, so she said it'll be quieter on the rides. She has 10 weeks to get back riding and fit for the French trip.
