Can I have your menu choices for the Christmas meal please. Call, message email, I donโ€™t mind which method you contact me. The menu is on our Facebook page and in the event on FB. You can also view via Merchants Manor website. We still have a few spaces left if youโ€™d like to join us

Change of plan! Fred and I will be going to the Falmouth School Sports Hub for the 9 o'clock spin session on account of the poor weather. Come and join us.

How the weather forecast changes! Not looking so good tomorrow after all. Short ride to Portreath anyone?

If you read the website posts you will know that Robin will be making his attempt on the 65-69 Masters Hour record at the Newport Velodrome on Tuesday 20 November. Phil Conroy is looking into transport arrangements for all who want to travel up to Newport to witness this event. We are planning to go up and back in the day and those that have ridden the track before have an opportunity to ride for a session between 12 and 2pm. Transport arrangements will, obviously, depend on the numbers who want to go. Please let Phil know asap whether you would like to be included.

As you have probably already seen on the Home page, the Pedal and Puff has been postponed due to the road works. The event was booked for Saturday October 20th. We will be notified of the new date as soon as possible.

Hi All Don't forget that we have our Monthly Club meeting on Thursday. This month we will be having Jono joining us to give us an entertaining talk with Photos following the Reverse Tapas Ride that took place earlier this year.

As most of you know already I'm attempting the hour record under VTTA rules for the age group 65-69. A date is now set - Tuesday 20th November at around 3pm at The Geraint Thomas National Velodrome Of Wales! We hope to be putting on transport for anyone who cares to come along and give support. I'll need it!

To everyone who was on the ride on Sunday, when we stopped at Hells' Mouth cafe to help a visitor to Cornwall, Cliff Martin, who came off his bike on the corner: We've had a very nice email from him, thanking everyone and especially Amanda for looking after him until the paramedics arrived. Luckily he wasn't seriously hurt, just bruised and scratched by brambles - 'a victim of my own poor bike handling'. He made it back to their motorhome for a late lunch, and is continuing with his Cornish holiday.

It has been suggested that whilst the Road Works continue along Bickland Water Road that we meet at Union Corner instead of our usual HQ for all rides. Does this sound like a sensible suggestion? I'm not sure how long the Works are going on for, maybe someone is able to let us know.
