That should have read โ€œpost lockdown pubbingโ€! Obviously a new word. Not to be confused with pubing.

Post lockdown punning. I suggest that everybody turns up at 6:00 tmrw at HQ and a decision made then regarding numbers and venues. Amanda has booked a table for 6 wheelers at the Royal Standard which may suit us all - or arrival times could be staggered. Or sit at different tables. Or use the Seven Stars. Or the Lemon. The fact is we rarely get more than a handful turn up for a pub ride these days. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿท๐Ÿน๐Ÿšด๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคช

Hi everyone and hope you're all well and got out on the bikes over the Easter weekend in the lovely weather- I was asked by Phil Samuels to write a reminder to you all to join Cycling UK if not members already as it gives you Bike and personal accident insurance as well as third party liability , legal help and retail discounts and six great cycling magazines ! I used my cover when involved in a collision in 2014 and Slater Gordon - a top law firm - handled my case superbly and made the whole experience stress free - I was able to recoup my lost earnings as well as receiving compensation for my injuries. I highly recommend joining at a cost of ยฃ48 adult membership or ยฃ75 joint per year. It makes you feel safer when out on the roads and I also belong to ETA ( The Ethical Choice ) bike rescue for ยฃ24 a year in case of mechanical failure!! Happy cycling Paula

Thank you all for the beautiful flowers I received today. It's been reassuring for me having you there and helping Steve and myself while I was away with Mum. All the messages have been really supportive for me. It's not just about cycling (and beer!) Looking forward to getting back with the groups cycling.

I hear that Richard753 has been in the wars again, although he escaped with only bruised ear lobes. The driver of an Electric Toyota attempted to over take him at a far too narrow point along the road from Devoran to Point. Far from apologising she suggested that Richard was in her way. Seems that road is jinxed for him.
