Hi Recently moved down here. I’ve sold my vehicle and relying on my bicycle for getting around Falmouth. I’m totally shocked at the ‘anti-cycling’ attitudes that prevail around here. From motorists to pedestrians, the prehistoric authorities that close roads and insist on cyclists dismounting. And it feels far more dangerous than my previous home town of Edinburgh, far more advanced in their facilitating of cycling. I’ve just moved back 20yrs! Is there a local organisation which campaigns for cycling and facilities for safe cycling in Fal? Thanks Duncan

Hi, Duncan, sorry for late response. There is the Falmouth & Penryn Cycling Campaign, on facebook, which I recently started to do just that. I am intending to build a website later this year for those who don’t use facebook. They used to say that moving to Cornwall was like moving back 50 years, so things may have improved - it depends upon which way you look at it. Dean
