At the moment we are looking at between 4th May to 11th May.
Flights are about £135 return with Ryanair and include speedy boarding, 20kg checked in baggage and two cabin bags.
A shared car to Bristol airport works out around £40 pp (four people) to cover fuel and parking.
The taxi transfer in Mallorca is out at about 40 euros return per person.
The accommodation – self catering villa with pool – is approx £800/£1000 for seven days. Shared between 4/6 people it will be about £135/£200 each.
Food/wine/beer is very cheap – we spent no more than 5/6 euros each evening meal including wine. Lots of it! Certainly no more than £40 each for the week.
Bike hire ranges from £120 to £200 for seven days – not sure what electric bikes cost to hire – you might want to research that.
There is a tourist tax of 4 euros a day per person.
“All in” around £550/600 – perhaps a few spare euros for lunch, drinks, gifts…………………….
( Travelling “cattle class” with Ryanair can save £’s, so, with room sharing and a cheap bike the total cost for the week could be below £450. )
I need to know within the next week who is planning on joining us as reserving three or four villas, close to one another, could be difficult – I’ll take a deposit of £50 now to enable us to make the booking.
I’ll take the balance closer to the time and make the arrangements for the transfers. You will have to book your own flights ( we’re happy to help ) and also make your own bike reservation ( again, we’re happy to help ).
There are challenging rides ( Mallorca is the cycling Mecca ) but also a considerable amount of level and rolling terrain. A lot of the middle of the island is quite flat, with the occasional hill – as in the picturesque village of Campanet which has a delightful central square with a couple of quiet cafés.

There is a very useful 1:75000 waterproof map available Mallorca by “Kompass” ( German mapping but in English and approx 1” to 2 km). “DASH4IT” on line map store – but based in Redruth!!
