Members of Falmouth Wheelers Cycling Club celebrated International Women’s Day by holding a mass cycle ride from Falmouth Business Park to Via Ferrata Cornwall at the Goodygrane Activity Centre, Halvasso.
Five women braved the challenging conditions and were looked after on the road, at the café and on the return journey by members of the club. 14 Wheelers accompanied the guests to Via Ferrata, where some stopped for coffee and a chat, whilst the others rode on to Porthleven.
The feedback from the women on the ride was fantastic: “The club riders were very supportive and made us feel so welcome”.
