Before you can add media to a post or forum you need to add said media to the Media Library. Typically when we say “media” we mean files containing pictures but media files can be other things too like video clips, PDF documents or gpx files.
So having logged in, click on “Media” on the left menu. If you have logged in on a mobile device you may need to click on the three horizontal lines top left of the screen to expose the menu.
Then click on “Add New Media File” on the left menu or the same within the Media Library itself
Then it’s a simple case of selecting individual or groups of media files from your computer or mobile device. If you’ve ever uploaded documents to a website (like copies of P60s to HMRC?!!) then you know how to upload things to a website!
