Just 2 OGIL out this Wednesday morning. I don't know whether this was why we made such good timing to Loe Beach for last visit of the year*. Route took us through Stithians, Lanner, Carharrack, Quenchwell and Penelewey. Conversation - Birds and bees - Bernie's various fowl and bumblies. Back through Devoran, Perranwell, Stithians and Deaf Tabby Cat Lane. Home by 1, 40miles.* Loe Beach cafe closes in 2 weeks.

Brilliant day at the Velodrome - what a whizzo new experience which has to be repeated! Thanks very much Simon for arranging everything. Sorry to miss Steve and Amanda's ride the next day due to my clumsy oops moment on the track! Hope you all enjoyed the ride? Very nice evening at the Black Cock at Caerphilly.

hi just wanted to see if anyone fancied taking my place on the cycling section of the Bude quadathlon on Saturday Sept 14th - we have a team entered as Tom's Tarts ! Julie is swimming - tom kayaking - I am now doing the 10km run and just need someone to cycle the 18 mile route ?! I have done it 3 times and the cycle is very picturesque and a wee bit hilly -out on the coast road and back on the main road to bude !!-it starts at 1pm so plenty of time to go up in a day and we can give a lift! If a male volunteer we may have to make you go in drag! please let me know if you fancy it 01326 319190 cheers paula
