Further to my post on facebook the other day, sharing the route of the Bob Mansbridge Memorial Ride route and GPX file, The way the GPX file has been made, doesnt follow the roads, there are massive stretches where you would either need a Boat or a Mountain bike if you followed it exactly, even when loaded onto mr Garmin. So I Mapped out the route of the 100 on Strava which makes the route follow roads properly rather than a point to point system, the route for the 100 is https://www.strava.com/routes/2569380 If anyone is doing the 50 and wants me to map it out better on there let me know. You can download the route from strava by clicking export.

Dear Sirs I write to ask if some of your club riders would be able to support a small protest march to be held on Sunday the 21st June at Chynhale which is very near Helston. (Time 10am) The objective of the protest is to keep the narrow lanes in our small hamlet free from an increase in traffic. I know that many of your club riders enjoy riding around these lanes and we want you to continue this but not incur higher volumes of traffic. So if any of you would be able to support our protest march on your bikes please contact me and I will explain more. (Tel no 01326 560712) Regards Clive Perrin

I'm going to drive over to the layby near Trelissick and join the pub ride on Wednesday, I have space for one more bike on my carrier if anyone would like to come? Phone me at 212697

The pub ride this Wenesday evening is to the Roseland Inn in Philliegh. Anyone not wanting to ride from HQ should meet in Devoran at around 6 o'clock to catch the 6.40 ferry. Those riding from HQ at 6 o'clock should make the 7 o'clock ferry meaning we will all arrive at pretty much the same time. Ferries are every 20 minutes with the last ferry back at 9.30. Give yourself twenty minutes from the pub though I think it is possible in seven, though it's not a good idea to put this to the test if you are catching the 9.30 ferry!

A big thanks to the organisers and helpers of yesterdays Merlin rides. The routes were both brilliant, with stunning scenery and quiet lanes - also great weather and an amazing venue making it a gem in the Audax calendar. The turn out was excellent - though I thought I there might have been a few more Fal Wheelers supporting this local event. I missed this one last year
